Moretti Red striking Transparent Effetre Glass Frit is a 104 COE soft glass frit made from Effetre Moretti transparent red glass that develops its final color through proper heatwork. This frit is produced by crushing compatible rod into medium sized granules so it can be rolled, sprinkled, or placed precisely onto hot glass. It is used in lampworking when you want to apply red color as a surface layer without smearing a solid frit coating, and it is especially useful for designs that will be encased to preserve crisp pattern edges. Medium frit is a practical size for even coverage while still allowing controlled placement for decorative effects.
How it is used:
- Rolling a hot bead through frit to apply an even layer of transparent red color
