Description:
Sheet of Fire-On Decals (#1) is a full sheet of kiln fired decals featuring ABR’s geometric fire-on shapes. These decals are supplied as pre-printed images on decal paper designed to be transferred onto glass and then fired so the design becomes a permanent, fused-on decoration. This style of decal is used in lampworking and kilnforming when you want clean, repeatable graphic elements on beads, pendants, small vessels, tiles, and other finished glasswork without having to hand paint each piece.
How it is used:
- Cut out the desired decal and soak it in water until the image releases from the backing paper.
- Slide the decal into position on clean glass and gently smooth out water and air so it lays flat.
- Allow the decal to dry fully, then fire in a kiln to the appropriate schedule for the decal type so the design bonds permanently to the surface.
