How it is used:
- Heat and wind molten glass onto a prepared mandrel to build the bead footprint.
- Bring the bead to an even working temperature so the surface is soft but not collapsing.
- Place the mandrel into the desired cavity size and roll smoothly to shape the donut profile.
- Reheat lightly as needed and repeat rolling until the bead is even and the ribs are well-defined.
- Fire-polish, check symmetry, and anneal according to your glass type.
