Description:
Soft Whisper Frit Blend is a premixed soft glass frit color blend composed of transparent and opaque amethyst and pale pink tones. This blend is designed to work softly as a background embellishment without overwhelming the primary design. The colors can be intensified by layering multiple applications, making it ideal for creating subtle floral effects and delicate accents. It is supplied in a jar as loose frit and is sold in a 2 oz jar.
How it is used:
- Warm the end of a rod, gather, or bead until the surface is hot enough to accept frit.
- Roll the hot glass in a frit tray or gently sprinkle frit onto the hot area to control placement and achieve soft, diffused color.
- Melt the frit in smoothly, then encase with a compatible clear if you want added depth and a cleaner surface.
- Layer multiple applications of Soft Whisper to intensify the amethyst and pink tones for more prominent floral embellishments.
- For fusing, sift or place frit where desired on the base glass, then fire to your schedule for tack fuse or full fuse effects.
