TAG - Milky Slyme Rod

Item Name:

Trautman Art Glass - Milky Slyme Rod

SKU:

TAG033R1-010-TAG-010

Description:

TAG Milky Slyme is a soft glass color from Trautman Art Glass available in 33 COE. This milky blue-green glass is a workable color that produces a soft, bushy flame when heated. When worked cooler, Milky Slyme develops a milky strike that creates opacity and depth. The glass responds well to a soft flame, especially when starting from a cold state. This color is ideal for lampworkers seeking a gentle, forgiving glass that produces beautiful blue-green hues with striking effects.

How it is used:

• Work the rod in a soft flame to bring out the best color development and workability.
• Keep the glass cooler during the working process to encourage the milky strike and maintain opacity.
• Use a soft, bushy flame rather than a sharp, hot flame for optimal results.
• Strike the glass after working to deepen the milky effect and enhance the color.
• Combine with other compatible 33 COE colors for custom color blending and effects.
