Overview

TAG Secret White is a borosilicate color from TAG that’s designed to give you a clean, workable white with extra visual depth. On the product page it’s described as a translucent white with an opalescent sheen and a slight milky heat strike, making it a strong choice when you want white that doesn’t look flat in the finished piece.

Why this color

Secret White stands out because it lives in that sweet spot between solid white and fully transparent. The opalescent sheen can add a soft glow, and the slight milky heat strike can bring out more character as you work it, especially when you’re layering, casing, or using it where light can travel through the glass.

Best uses

Clean white accents, linework, and highlights where you want more depth than an opaque white
Layering and light casing work to create a soft, luminous white effect
Sculptural details and small components where subtle sheen makes the form pop
Pairing with bright transparents or saturated opaques for high-contrast color palettes
