Item Name:

Blow More Glass Tools - Tool / Rod Rest

SKU:

Description:

This tool and rod rest holder is a sturdy metal organizer designed to keep your most-used hand tools and glass rods in one place at the bench. It is constructed as a long, low-profile metal rack with multiple ports that hold tools upright and separated so tips do not tangle or get damaged. In lampworking, a dedicated rest like this helps you maintain a clean, repeatable workstation by keeping reamers, tweezers, paddles, mashers, and other shaping tools within easy reach while also giving you a safe place to park short rods or punty material between uses. It is especially useful when you are working hot and need to set a tool down quickly without it rolling, crossing over another tool, or landing where it can get contaminated.

How it is used:

Place the rest on your bench in a spot you can reach without crossing the flame. Load your frequently used tools into the ports so each tool has its own dedicated position. During a session, return each tool to the holder after use to keep your workstation organized and to reduce the chance of knocking tools onto the floor or into your work area.
