Description:

This is a medium-size transparent color frit made from Effetre 104 COE glass in a very pale topaz shade. It is produced by crushing compatible 104 COE glass into consistently sized granules, then packaging it as a ready-to-use frit for lampworking. Very pale topaz is the lightest shade in the topaz frit line, offering a subtle, delicate yellow-amber tone. It is used when you want to add soft, warm color as surface decoration, to build layered color effects, or to create depth when it is encased under clear 104 COE glass.

How it is used:

• Warm your bead or component and roll it through frit to apply an even layer of color.
• Melt the frit in smoothly in a neutral flame to reduce scumming and keep the color clean.
• Use frit in light layers for subtle shading or build heavier coverage for solid color fields.
• Encasing over the melted-in frit with clear 104 COE glass helps create depth and can give a cleaner, "no smear" look in the finished design.
