The Yin-Yang Blasting Stencils are single-use vinyl stencils measuring 8.5 inches by 12 inches with approximately 5/8-inch top and bottom margins. Each sheet features the classic Yin-Yang symbol in multiple sizes, with the largest images ranging from 1 to 1.5 inches in height and width, followed by proportionally sized medium, small, and very small images. The water-based adhesive allows for simple removal by soaking in water, making these stencils ideal for sandblasting applications on glass surfaces. These stencils are used to create precise, sharp-edged Yin-Yang patterns on finished glasswork, offering consistent results for decorative etching on beads, vessels, and other glass pieces. A minimum purchase of three sheets is required.
How it is used:
- Adhere the stencil to a clean glass surface using the water-based adhesive, pressing firmly to ensure a secure bond.
- Position the glass in the sandblasting chamber and apply abrasive media at appropriate pressure to etch the exposed areas.
- Remove the stencil by soaking it in water until the adhesive releases and the stencil falls away cleanly.
- Rinse and dry the finished piece to reveal the sharp-edged Yin-Yang pattern.
